Written in plain language by the people who built this, not by a lawyer. The marked passages need review before this takes money at any scale.
What the service is
ReBiz finds businesses in a given city and trade, measures their public online presence, and ranks them against the median for that trade in that city. It is a research tool. It tells you who to call; it does not call anyone, and it does not send email.
Contacting businesses is your responsibility
This is the obligation people most often get wrong, and it does not transfer to us. When you export a list you become responsible for how you use it, under the law of the country you are contacting. The rules are not the same across Europe:
France. Business-to-business prospecting by email is generally allowed without prior consent where the message relates to the recipient’s own profession, provided you identify yourself and offer a simple way to opt out in every message. Opt-out.
Germany. Under the UWG, unsolicited commercial email generally requires prior consent even between businesses, and unsolicited approaches can be treated as unfair competition and pursued by competitors rather than only by regulators. Opt-in. A list of German businesses is not a list you may simply email.
Regulated trades bring their own restrictions on top. German gambling operators, for example, cannot lawfully be sold advertising or social-media campaigns under the GlüStV, and the scanner will not recommend those services for that vertical — but the responsibility for what you actually offer remains yours.
You agree not to use exported data for unlawful bulk messaging, to resell it, or to use it for anything other than offering your own services to the business concerned.
Have a lawyer confirm the FR and DE summaries above and add the other markets before selling into them. The distinction stated here is the one that matters commercially, so it needs to be right rather than approximately right. What we do not promise
Accuracy. The data comes from Google Places and from the businesses’ own websites, and both change without notice. A business may have closed, changed number, or fixed its website since we looked. Scores are automated estimates, not professional advice, and a scan is a snapshot of the day it ran.
Results. We do not promise that any lead will reply, that any deal will close, or that a list will produce revenue. Nobody honestly can, and any tool that does is guessing.
Availability. The service depends on third parties — Google’s API, our hosting, the websites being scanned — and scans can fail or return incomplete data. Where a scan fails on our side, the credit is returned automatically.
Your account
One account is for one person or team. You are responsible for what happens under your login and for keeping your credentials to yourself. Don’t share access, and don’t resell scans as a service of your own.
Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds
Paid plans are not on sale yet. Everything in this section describes how they will work when they open; until then the free tier is the whole service and nothing on this site can charge you.
Paid plans bill monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your plan active until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate a part-used month.
Scan credits reset at the start of each calendar month and do not roll over. A scan that fails for a reason on our side is refunded to your balance automatically.
If something is genuinely broken and you have not been able to use what you paid for, write to support@rebiz.app and we will sort it out.
EU consumer law gives a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts. It is usually disapplied for business customers, but the position needs confirming, along with what happens for a sole trader who is arguably both. Add the statutory wording once confirmed.Liability
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Check this cap against French consumer and commercial law, which restricts how far liability can be limited in some circumstances.Changes
We will update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be notified by email before they take effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
Contact and governing law
ReBiz is operated by Yannick AST, 7 rue d’Altheim, 57720 Ormersviller, France. Questions: support@rebiz.app.
Governed by French law, with the French courts having exclusive jurisdiction.
Add the SIREN here once the business is registered. Two things for a lawyer on the clause above: naming a specific court (the tribunal for the operator’s domicile) is the more usual and more precise form than “the French courts” — and an exclusive-jurisdiction clause binds a business customer but generally cannot be held against a consumer, who keeps the right to sue where they live. That matters here because a sole trader can be treated as either.
